I can’t believe it has been so long since my last blog post! Where has the time gone. Oh my.

So to get back on track I thought I would share portraits of the fabulous kiddos from the Spring Portrait Session. Marion (of Marion Charlotte Photography) and I are teaming up more and more and we worked together to create these wonderful photographs. Hope you enjoy

Nadja + Jesse | Engagement

Nadja and Jesse are soon to be married. They both have such playful spirits and so much affection for each other. These two things stand out for me in these engagement portraits. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in love. Boy and girl live happily ever after . Awesome story!

Kiwi | Pet Photography

Meet Kiwi, the winner of G Aronow Photography’s most recent pet contest. A super serious chihuahua!! But oh so adorable. And a happy camper. His parents, Jed and Keri, recently bought their first home together in Penn Valley, where these photos were taken. Kiwi has lots of area to run around, dig, and play. Such a lucky dog.

Baby Henry | 6 Months

This is little Henry at 6 months. How much he has changed from that sleepy little newborn! All full of smiles and curiousity. He lights up at the site of his two big sisters. I am sure they keep him pretty entertained.

We will be seeing Henry again at 12 months Can hardly wait!

Krystelle Rain | 8th Grade Portraits

I have known Krystelle since she was about 7 I think. She has always been a lover of animals, from cats to dogs, to chickens and ducks, and now her new love, horses. She has been riding horses for several years. Personally, I have always been a little afraid of horses. So I can’t help but be in awe of Krystelle’s ease and affection for these beautiful animals.

These portraits of this beautiful young lady were at her mother’s request to commemorate her 8th grade year. It is such a year of transitions… next year off to high school. That much closer to adulthood. But for now still the young sweet girl.

Baby Alexander | Newborn Portraits

Another newborn shoot to share! Meet Baby Alexander who was born in January. He was just over two weeks in these newborn portraits. He is so sweet and you can tell how his parents just adore him. His big sister wanted to make sure he looked his best and had his special toy. Loved that!

Baby Byers | Newborn Portraits

Congratulations to the Byers family! I am so excited to finally share these newborn portraits of little Mackenzie. These portraits were taken at just under a week old. Isn’t she just the most adorable thing? I just want to pick her up and cuddle her.

You will be seeing more of this cute little thing on my blog in future months as she is in the Baby Program! Woot Woot! So very excited to document her first year.

Black and White Bridal Portraits

Not too long ago I attended a workshop given by Sandy Puc’ Tours – a Hands On Workshop, which meant we got to take our cameras and shoot alongside some fabulous instructors. Super fun. One of my ideal ways to spend a Saturday, taking portraits! And there is always more to learn with this craft :)

Byers Family Portraits | Rocklin, CA

Before Christmas I met the Byers Family in Rocklin for their annual family photo session. It was a gorgeous crisp morning and the light was beautiful, as was this lovely family. We also made sure to take some portraits of Gretchen, as she was expecting her third baby. Had to get some belly shots! The baby, McKensie, was born 2 weeks ago today. I will have newborn photos to share very soon! She is a cutie pie!
