G Aronow Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi there and welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by! Here you will find recent photos of my fabulous clients, and probably some of my kids too. Ok, well I try to keep the kids to a minimum, but sometimes I can't resist.
I love photographing people, whether it is an important event like a wedding, or just everyday family life. I like to think of my camera as a little magic box with which I can capture memories so you can hold onto them for always.
Hope you will stay awhile, relax, and enjoy!

Cathy and Bob Wedding | Sierraville, CA

Cathy and Bob got married recently on a beautiful (albeit hot) day in June in the lovely little town of Sierraville. I love their story.  They have known each other since their high school days in southern california.  Although they never dated in high school, there has been some speculation that Bob has harboured a crush on his beautiful bride since those days:) After running into each another at a high school reunion a few years back, they fell in love and have been carrying on a long distance romance.  Not so anymore!  They are now both happily settled in Truckee.

The little church in Sierraville was packed full, as their wedding drew long time friends and family from far and wide.  After the ceremony everyone headed about 20 minutes out of town to a big ol’ barn to dance and eat and have a merry time.  All around, it was a fabulous day!  Congratulations Cathy and Bob!

Spring Portrait Sessions | Nevada City

I can’t believe it has been so long since my last blog post!  Where has the time gone.  Oh my.

So to get back on track I thought I would share portraits of the fabulous kiddos from the Spring Portrait Session. Marion (of Marion Charlotte Photography) and I are teaming up more and more and we worked together to create these wonderful photographs.  Hope you enjoy:)

Kiwi | Pet Photography

Meet Kiwi, the winner of G Aronow Photography’s most recent pet contest.  A super serious chihuahua!!  But oh so adorable.  And a happy camper.  His parents, Jed and Keri, recently bought their first home together in Penn Valley, where these photos were taken.  Kiwi has lots of area to run around, dig, and play.  Such a lucky dog.
