    Hi there and welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by! Here you will find recent photos of my fabulous clients, and probably some of my kids too. Ok, well I try to keep the kids to a minimum, but sometimes I can't resist.
    I love photographing people, whether it is an important event like a wedding, or just everyday family life. I like to think of my camera as a little magic box with which I can capture memories so you can hold onto them for always.

Baby Henry + Family | Nevada City, CA

The cutie pie was born the first week in July and these portraits were taken of Henry and his family at about 2 weeks of age.  I am amazed at the intensity of his gaze every time I look at the first picture below.  Does it grab you like it does me?  Babies, they are so little, but no less of presence!!!  I am sure any parent would agree with me there…

He was welcomed by his parents, Beth and Barry, and two big sisters, Lucy and Katie.  I am sure he will be getting lots of attention and Beth will be getting lots of help (whether she wants it or not) with two big sisters around.:) I am also super excited because I am going to get to photograph Henry a few more times during his first year as part of my new Bebé Collection.  So you all will be seeing this cutie again!!!

Then you all will have a chance to vote from Saturday, August 25th – Thursday, August 29th (5 days only!)

If you win, you will receive:

A complimentary photo session for your child!  You will also receive a print credit for $75.00!  Total value $225!!!!

2. Email me a recent photo of your babe (age 3 months to 4 years) with their name and age at garonow@sbcglobal.net (One child per family and please no images shot by professional photographers!)

Lisa + Jeremy | Harmony Ridge Lodge Nevada City,CA

These two wonderful people are so clearly filled with love for one another.  It was an awesome wedding under the big redwood and cedar trees at the Harmony Ridge Lodge just outside of Nevada City.  A clear celebration of this love.  Lisa looked absolutely gorgeous in her cream satin gown.  And Jeremy, albeit a little nervous, looked quite handsome in his tux.  Of course, those nerves went away as soon as he saw his beautiful bride walking down the isle.  After that it was a piece of cake…and oh the cupcakes did look so yummy!

Lisa and Jeremy, I am so happy for you two!  May you have years and years of love, laughter and happiness!!!

Kendra + Rob Wedding | Grass Valley, CA

I am so excited to share some of the photographs of Kendra and Rob’s wedding.  This was a second marriage for both Kendra and Rob and in some ways I think it made it all the more significant.  It was clear they were getting married for all the right reasons.  That they are deeply in love with each other and want to spend their life together.  Simple.  Profound.  Awesome.  I was so honored to be a part of it.

It was a garden wedding at their home just outside Grass Valley.  It made me reminisce of Provence with all the lavender, sunshine, and delicious food (although the ribs definitely gave it that American flare!).  Kendra looked stunning in her lace gown.  Kendra and Rob, I hope you had a fabulous honeymoon!  You deserved it!

Dinda & Daughters | Sacramento, CA

Aren’t these ladies just beautiful?  Dinda was super happy to have four of her five children home recently (just missing her son, who is enlisted).  She took the opportunity to get some fun portraits done of all the girls!  I loved their super CUTE dresses and it was a blast to photograph them all.  Dinda and girls, I hope you enjoy these… you all look fabulous!!!
